Donald Rose

Donald H. Rose Jr. age 64 of Onaway, formerly of Rogers City passed away due to covid-19 on November 6, 2021 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

He was born June 22, 1957 in Rogers City to Donald and Marvel (Baker) Rose.

Don worked at various jobs over the years but will be remembered as that familiar face at Erb Lumber. He also served on the Rogers City Fire Department for many years.

He leaves behind three children, Amber (Jeff), Tristan (Nicole) and Aaron (Cara); his mother, Marvel Rose; four grandchildren, T.J., Amerika, Hannah and Brynn; four sisters, Kathryn Bryan, Crystal Deloy, Brenda Gronefeld and Lynette (Rob) Debow; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald H. Rose Sr.; one sister, Donna; and three brothers, Ronald, Richard and Alan.

Per Don’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held.
