Donald Selden

Don Selden, 77, of Cheboygan died December 6, 2021 peacefully at home.

He was born May 8, 1944 in Detroit to Stanley and Joan “Penny” Selden.

Don was a long-time resident of Cheboygan. He worked for the City of Cheboygan, where he retired from. After retirement he enjoyed driving cars for most of the car dealerships in Cheboygan. He married Cecilia Drydalo in Cheboygan. Don loved watching all 5 of his grandkids play sports. He went to all their sporting events to cheer them on. He enjoyed fishing, feeding his ducks, garage saleing with his friend, Ralph and sister, Lynn, hanging out with his McDonald’s morning coffee crew, and socializing with everyone. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Don is survived by his wife, Cecilia, three children, Donna (Todd) Baldwin of Cheboygan, Daniel (Carrie) Selden of Florida, Darren (Opal) Selden of Cheboygan, 5 grandkids, Tyler Baldwin (Elise Arkwood), Hailey (Frankie) Nolan, Blaine Baldwin, Addyson Baldwin, and Ava Baldwin. 2 sisters, Dianne George and Lynette LaVigne(Lenny Spray).

Don is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Don on January 15, 2022 at Knights of Columbus Hall from 1pm-4pm.
