Donald Wagner

Donald L. Wagner age 77 of Rogers City
passed away April 4, 2012 at home

He was born November 27, 1934 in Hagensville
to Herman and Dora (Hopp) Wagner

Don graduated from Rogers City High School in 1953. On June 30, 1956 he married
Diane McLennan in Rogers City. He retired from the Calcite Plant in 1991.

Don loved playing cards and baseball. He was an avid Hurons Sports fan and helped
with the renovations at Gilpin Field. He was instrumental in starting the Little League
Baseball program in Rogers City and was very involved for many years. Don was a
member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Hagensville Hunt Club. He will be
sadly missed.

Mr. Wagner is survived by:
his wife, Diane;
5 children, Kim M. (Jerry) Yarch of Rogers City,
Jeffrey (Sandy) Wagner of Traverse City,
Natalie (Ralph) Zempel of Rogers City,
Darren (Brenda) Wagner of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and
Scott (Francesca) Wagner of Macomb Township;
grandchildren, Jacob (Tiffiny), Tyler, Jordan, Chelsea, Michael, Justin, Joshua, and
Nichole;
sister, Marie Schellic;
2 sisters-in-law, Valerie (Elroy) Bade and Margaret Wagner;
many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m, with
a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday at
St. John Lutheran Church in Rogers City from 10:00 a.m, through time of funeral
at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Schreiber officiating.

Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church or School
in memory of Don Wagner.
