Donna Budnik

Donna Susan Budnik of Posen collected her last feather for her wings and danced into Heaven on May 28, 2023.

She was born on October 8, 1969, to David Budnik and Adeline (Shalla) Budnik.

Donna is survived by her sister Mary (Ralph) Dietlin, her brothers John (Beth) Budnik, Fred (Lorraine) Budnik, Mark (Cindy) Budnik, David (Shirley) Budnik, and Brian (Brenda) Budnik, and many wonderful nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Adeline.

Donna loved life, oldies music, and giving out hugs. Her smile was second to none. She enjoyed eating at Subway, attending family outings, and spending time at the Posen Potato Festival. Donna looked forward to summer vacations and Christmas’ at her sister Mary’s home.
Donna’s family would like to thank the staff at My Michigan Medical Center, Medilodge of Alpena, and Hospice of Michigan for their  wonderful care. Special thanks to the amazing people who cared for Donna at Blue Horizons and at Posen AFC Home. Everyone at these homes took Donna into their lives and hearts. The Budnik family will never forget all the love that you gave to our sister.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Donna’s life, starting at 9am, on Friday, June 9th  at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Posen with a mass to follow at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to St. Casimir Church, St. Jude’s Hospital, or a charity of choice.
