Donna Phillips

Donna Mae Phillips, 72, of Cheboygan passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 3, 2020.

Donna was born on February 15, 1948 to Elmer George and Clara Belle (Chase) Kitchen.

In addition to raising 5 children, Donna worked at Royal Linen for 20+ years before becoming a cook at Kewadin Casino where she finally retired. Donna loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was always happiest when her house was filled with her children and grandchildren. Donna also enjoyed working in her flower gardens, going to the casino, and listening to country music. She also had a fondness for John Wayne, and crime shows.

Donna is survived by her 5 children, Taresa Dixon of Cheboygan, Chris (Shelly) Phillips of St. Ignace, Scott (Jackie) Phillips of Commerce Twp., Melissa Phillips of Cheboygan, and Bobbie (Andy) Beckman of Cheboygan; 17 grandchildren, Travis, Kayla, Nathan, Josh, Jamie, Natasha, Aaron, Tori, Zoey, Anthony, Justin, MacKenzie, Jon, Abigail, Tyler, Quinton, and Grayson; 11 great grandchildren, Taylor, Jaxon, Izaac, JayLynn, Eli, Lucas, Santana, Renezzmai, Anastasia, Hayden, and Hazel. Donna is also survived by her 3 sisters, Mary Kitchen of Cheboygan, Linda (Ron) Adler of McMillan, and Helen Diehl of Cheboygan, and 1 brother, Danny Kitchen, also of Cheboygan.

She is also survived by her ex-husband, Carl Phillips Jr. of Cheboygan, with whom she maintained a good
friendship. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer & Clara Kitchen; also by her 2 brothers,
Richard Kitchen & Elmer Kitchen, both of Cheboygan.

Donna requested a private memorial. The family wishes to thank everyone for their kind
thoughts and prayers.
