Elizabeth Limberg

Elizabeth M. “Betty” Limberg age 88 of Presque Isle
and Englewood, Florida, passed away
September 16, 2009 at home

She was born August 1,1921 in Rogers City
to Herbert and Erma (Grambau) Hein

Betty married Ferd Limberg in Rogers City on June 25, 1941 and moved to Detroit
where she was employed by Burton Abstract & Title Company and Northwestern
Mutual Life Insurance Company. The Limberg’s moved to Presque Isle in 1985.

She is survived by:
son, James W. (Colleen) Limberg of Rochester;
daughter, Judy C. Straley of Farmington
4 grandchildren, Dana C, (Jay Lind) Limberg of Chicago, Nicole R. Limberg of
New York, Steven (Amy) Straley of Canton, and Jaimie E. Straley of Farmington;
3 great grandchildren, Zeke Lind Limberg, Jacob Daniel Zawaski, and
Zoe Kathryn Straley;
sister, Magdalene “Maggie” (George) Simon of Presque Isle

Betty was preceded in death by:
husband, Ferd in 1996 and daughter, Kay Limberg-Karr in 2008,
son in law, Donald Karr in 2009
2 sisters, Esther McCreery in 1994 and Ruth DeKett in 2001

Private family services have taken place at the Beck Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society/Breast Cancer in memory of
Betty Limberg.
