Elmer Schaedig

Elmer Schaedig age 86 of Rogers City passed away June 4, 2008 at
Tendercare – Rogers City.

He was born October 11, 1921 in Moltke Township
to August and Anna (Roeske) Schaedig

Elmer served in the United States Army during
World War II. After returning home he married
Agnes Curtis on September 7, 1946 at

Immanuel Lutheran Church. In April of 1983 he
retired from United States Steel after 37 years of
service.

Mr. Schaedig is survived by:
wife, Agnes
2 sons, Gene (Barb) of Rogers City and
Don (Laurie) of Lacota
9 grandchildren, Justin, Corey, Mary, Sheri, Amanda, Scott, Shaun,
Chelsea, and Courtney
9 great grandchildren
3 great-great grandchildren
2 brothers, Leonard (Barbara) of Rogers City and
Howard (Katie) of Rogers City
1 sister, Lillian (Wilbert) Keinath of Frankenmuth
1 sister in law, Esther Schaedig of Rogers City

Elmer was preceded in death by:
parents, August and Anna
1 brother, Hardy
1 sister, Marie Claus

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday (June 5th)
from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation
will resume on Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 10:00 a.m.
to the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Eric Voight
officiating.

Interment will take place in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
