Emogene Wenzel

Emogene Lillian “Emmy” Wenzel age 82 of Rogers City
passed away March 4, 2015 at Rogers City Tendercare.

She was born August 4, 1932 in Rogers City
to Philip and Emily (Jarvis) Kuznicki.

On January 26, 1951 she married Gerald Wenzel at St. John Lutheran
Church in Rogers City. Emmy was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic
Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club in Alpena, She enjoyed
gardening and playing bingo.

Emmy is survived by:
3 sons, Gerald (Susan) of Rogers City, Danny of Rogers City and
Randy of Traverse City;
4 grandchildren, Trisha Lail of Rogers City, Philip of Alpena,
Cody (Jessie) Wenzel of Rogers City and Justin Wenzel
of Rogers City;
7 siblings, Jeannie Polluch, Pat (Larry) LaHaie, Diane Struzik,
Beverly (Ed) Rios, Marvin (Molly) Kuznicki,
Bill (Ellen) Kuznicki and Leroy (Bert) Kuznicki,

She was preceded in death by:
her husband, Gerald;
parents, Phil and Emily;

2 sisters, Ruth Kuznicki and Joyce Wirgau;
1 brother, Clifford Kuznicki,

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 until
8:00 p.m. with rosary at 6:30. Visitation will resume at St. Ignatius
Catholic Church on Saturday from 12-Noon through time of Mass at
1:00 p.m. with Fr. Sylvestre Obwaka officiating,

Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery,

Memorials may be given to St. Ignatius Catholic School
in memory of Emogene Wenzel.
