Esther Quade

Esther H. Quade age 86 of Rogers Township
passed away November 3, 2009 at
Tendercare Health Center of Rogers City

She was born July 15, 1923 in Montmorency Township
to Gustav and Martha (Cordes) Schlak

On August 20, 1949 Esther married Herbert Quade at St. John – Royston. Mrs. Quade
enjoyed gardening and canning everything she grew. Esther also enjoyed playing
cards and listening to polka shows on the radio.

She is survived by:
4 children, Karen Quade of Rogers City, Dale (Christine) of Rogers City,
Donna (John) Genord of Allen Park, and Keith (Joyce) Quade of Posen
8 grandchildren, Jason (Kristine) Chalupniczak, Brad Chalupniczak, Rachel Quade,
Matthew Quade, Luke Quade, Elizabeth Genord, Rene (Troy) Bass,
and Lisa (Hameed) Mohamed
7 great grandchildren, Brendan, Peyton, Emily, Treavor, Joseph, Laila, and Zach
1 sister, Martha (Harold) Hopp of Rogers City

Mrs. Quade was preceded in death by:
husband, Herbert and
4 brothers, Otto, Robert, Adolph, and Carl

Friends may visit the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m..
Visitation will resume on Friday at St. John Lutheran Church from 12-noon until
time of funeral at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Schreiber officiating

Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church Radio Fund or
Tendercare – Rogers City Activities Room in memory of Esther Quade.
