Eugene Freske

Eugene Freske age 93 of Posen passed away peacefully at WellBridge Assisted Living Center in Grand Blanc on October 25, 2026.

He was born in Posen on November 17, 1932 to Anthony and Mary (Peplinski) Freske.

On May 3, 1957 he married Delores Ross in Rogers City. He loved playing his accordion, listening to polka music and Polka Joe and working on his farm from morning until night.

Eugene is survived by four children, Pam Warner, Mark (Lori) Freske, Kathy (George) Riharb and Greg (Gina) Freske; nine grandchildren, Jason Ross, Cody Warner, Karen Seavy, Rebecca (Chris) Ridley, Alan (Beckie) Freske, Kristin (Kyle) MacNall, Lauren (Dustin) Proctor, Katelyn (Fiancé, Justin Greason) Riharb and Ashley (Trevor) Adolph; 14 great grandchildren, Maxwell Ross, Brock Seavy, Kenny Seavy, Lilah Ridley, Brody Ridley, Emma Freske, Bristol Freske, Finn MacNall, Logan MacNall, Emma MacNall, Alice Proctor, Charlotte Proctor, Jacqueline Proctor, Winston Proctor, Graham Adolph, Reid Adolph; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores; a sister, Margaret Krajniak and five brothers, Alex, Casimir, Phillip, Ben and Edward.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 4th from 10 a.m. through time of his funeral at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.
