Eugene Promo

Eugene Ronald Promo age 87 of Rogers City passed away June 2, 2022 at MyMichigan Health in Alpena.

He was born June 10, 1934 in Rogers City to Leo and Nettie (Metko) Promo.

Eugene graduated from Rogers City High School in 1955. He worked at Adrian’s Sport Shop for a time then worked at Royal V & S Hardware for 8 years until he returned to Adrian’s where he worked until his retirement in 1988. He was a member at St. Ignatius Catholic Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Tom) Vance of Beaumont, Texas and a nephew, Michael Promo.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Nettie as well as his brother, Leo Jr. on November 18, 1958.

Graveside and inurnment service will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery at 2 p.m. Friday, June 10^th.

Memorials may be given to St. Ignatius Catholic School’s Angel fund in memory of Eugene Promo.
