Francis Finelli

Francis “Joe” Finelli age 82 of Indian River
passed away October 13, 2008 at Tendercare – Cheboygan.

He was born November 18, 1925 in Claremont, NH to
Nicholas and Mary (Lizotte) Finelli

Joe served in the United States Navy Air Corps during World War II.
He married Barbara Hewston at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Detroit
on May 8, 1948. The Finclli’s moved to the home he and his son Pat built
on the Sturgeon River in 1983.

Mr. Finelli is survived by:
wife, Barbara
4 children,
Jan & Bruce Karn of Illinois, Sue Lockamy of Ohio,
Michael of Sterling Hgts, and Pat of Indian River
1 grandson, Bill Lockamy
1 brother, Peter of Florida

He was preceded in death by:
1 brother, Nick
1 sister, Pauline

Memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Novemb er 18th at
St. Monica Catholic Church in Afton with Fr. Jim Gardner officiating.
