Frank Momrik
1930 - 2014Frank Martin Momrik, age 84 of Posen,
passed away May 30, 2014 at
McLaren Northern Michigan.
He was born March 9, 1930 in Posen
to Fedor and Catherine (Dudach) Momrik.
Frank served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
On May 25, 1957 he married Patricia Romel at St. Casimir Catholic
Church, Mr. Momrik was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and
its Ushers Club, and a life member of Posen VFW Post 7804. He retired
from Presque Isle Corporation after 34.5 years of service,
Mr. Momrik is survived by:
his wife of 57 years, Patricia;
5 children, Marietta (Dale) Zampich, Glen (Claire) Momrik,
Theodore (Kathy) Momrik, Lois Krajniak, and Ann Wilk;
11 grandchildren, Nicole Momrik, Jessica (Keith) McLennan,
Bradley (Samantha) Zampich, Anthony Momrik,
Kaitlyn Momrik, Rebecca Momrik,
Kendra (Mark) Brege, Nolan Krajniak, Logan Krajniak,
Tharin Wilk, and Cameron Wilk;
1 great granddaughter, Aiyana Brege.
He was preceded in death by:
an infant son, Frank Jr;
parents, Fedor and Catherine;
5 sisters, Eva Hodorowski, Anna Lasecki, Mary Weise,
Sophie Smarcyewski, and Stella Green;
2 brothers, John and Al.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00 until
8:00 p.m. where the rosary will be led by Posen VFW, its Auxiliary, and
the St. Casimir Rosary Sodality followed by the parish wake service
at 7:00 p.m,
Visitation will resume on Monday at St, Casimir Catholic Church from
10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz
officiating.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Posen VFW during graveside
services at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery following Mass.
Memorials may be given to St. Casimir Catholic Church,
Posen VFW Post 7804 or a charity of your choice.
