George Wilson, Jr.

George Fenton Wilson Jr., age 49 of Millersburg
passed away July 2, 2017 at home following a long battle with heart
and kidney failure, always fighting for that next day with his loved ones.

He was born December 1, 1967 in Detroit
to George Sr. and Regina (Morris) Wilson.

George graduated from Central High School, a true “Trailblazer” at heart,
He was pursuing a football career when he was diagnosed with
cardiomyopathy. George managed group homes for those with

mental handicaps. He was also employed for a time as a security officer
at the Detroit Metro Airport. He also worked as Quality Control for

Ford Motor Company. In 2013, George relocated to Millersburg, God’s
country, which he loved. George loved his children, his life partner,
Chris, his dog, nature, as well as sports. He cherished his relationships
with his family, friends, and high school classmates, of which he will be
remembered for his sense of humor,

He is survived by:
two sons, George III and Jordan Wilson;
two daughters, Gabrielle Burgess and Aaliyah Wilson;
a son by love, Brockton Bain;
an “Uncle Ron”;
life partner and soul mate, Christin Delashmit;
former wife and friend, Heather Miles, Gloria Patton, Cyndie Miskelly,
and Joyce Price;
his right handman, Wade Conelly and family;
Aunt Cindy; Aunt Rene’; Aunt Carolynn; and
his loving four legged companion, Linwood.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
