Gladys Schleben

Gladys R. Schleben age 56 of Petoskey
passed away October 20, 2009 at Hiland Cottage Hospice House in Petoskey

She was born February 16, 1953 in Rogers City
to John and Ethel (Rex) Schleben

Gladys graduated from Rogers City High School in 1971. She put herself through
nursing school and graduated in 1978. She worked as an RN for Little Traverse and
Northern Michigan Hospitals for more than 25 years and as a Triage Nurse at
Internal Medicine of Petoskey for 12 years.

She is survived by:
3 sisters, Leona Green of Posen, Gertrude Clark of Rogers City, and
Darlene (Mike) Lewis of Petoskey
3 brothers, Adolph (Marcia) Schleben of Rogers City, John Schleben of Posen, and
Edwin (Sherri) Schleben of Florida
many nieces and nephews

Gladys was preceded in death by:
her parents, John and Ethel;
sister, Adeline Avent; and
brother, Marvin

Friends may visit the Beck Funcral Home on Friday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a
prayer service at 7:00 p.m.. Visitation will resume on Saturday at
St. James Lutheran Church in Moltke Township from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral
at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Douglas Kenny officiating.

Burial will take place at St. James Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Little Traverse Bay Hiland Cottage in memory
of Gladys Schleben.
