Gordon Wirgau

Gordon L. Wirgau age 69 of Hawks
passed away December 11, 2009 at
Northern Michigan Hospital

He was born February 14, 1940 in Metz
to Max and Lorene (Kortman) Wirgau

Gordon Served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He
marricd Lillian J. Remus on October 6, 1984 at Faith Lutheran Church. He
owned and operated Wirgau Excavating.

He is survived by:
wife, Lillian;
2 sons, Randy (Teresa) Elowsky of Hillman and
Daren (Janet) Elowsky of Hawks
2 grandsons, Travis and Chad Elowsky
brother, Charles (Joann) Wirgau of Alpena
2 sisters, Maxine (Gerald) Pilarski of Hawks and
Lavona (Lawrence) Aube of Ossincke
sister in law, Gloria Wirgau of Hawks

Gordon was preceded in death by:
parents, Max and Lorraine; and
brother, Harlan

Friends may visit the Beck Funeral Home on Monday (December 14th) from
2:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.. Visitation will
continue at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. through time of
funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jack Ferguson officiating. Rogers City
VFW will accord military honors following the funeral.

Interment will take place at Faith Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to American Cancer Socicty, Faith Lutheran
Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice in memory of Gordon Wirgau.
