Harriet Morrison

Harriet Darlene Morrison age 81 of Hillman passed away unexpectedly at home on May 22, 2023.

She was born August 7, 1941 in Dearborn to Harry and Irene (Ryba) Marquardt.

Harriet graduated from Hillman High School in 1959. She married Donald Morrison on November 17, 1962 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Harriet was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and their choir for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, tending to her flower gardens and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; five children, Alan (Corey) Morrison of Hillman, Paul (Jamie) Morrison of Hillman, Gary Morrison of Grayling, Jennine (Brian) Knight of Warren and Donald (Jenny) Morrison of Clinton Township; 12 grandchildren, Masie (Dan), Jacob, Isaac, Regina, Melanie, Jaena, Luke, Cameron, Mallory, Christian, Kyle and Dawson; two great grandchildren, Nia and Cody; siblings, Carolyn MacNicol, Patricia Zwolinski, Roger Marquardt, Evelyn Steinke, Sue Marquardt, Sue Cronkhite, and Randy (Suzanne) Marquardt.

Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Irene; a brother, Larry; sister-in-law, Mary Marquardt; 4 brothers-in-law, Robert Steinke, Robert MacNichol, Don Cronkhite and Clarence Zwolinski

Friends may visit at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman on Friday, May 26^th from 4-8 p.m. with rosary at 6:30 and parish wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume at church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m. with Fr. James Siler officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Augustine Catholic Church in memory of Harriet Morrison.
