Hattie Pochmara

Hattie Evelyn Pochmara age 89 of Rogers Township passed away December 5, 2021 at home.

She was born October 16, 1932 in Metz Township to Joseph and Mary (Kaszubowski) Kruczynski.

She married John Edward Pochmara on August 11, 1950 in Albion, Indiana. Hattie had a giving heart, making knits hats for all her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and her church family. She went to church every week and would read her bible everyday with her son, Bob.

Hattie is survived by her son, Robert “Bob” Pochmara Sr. of Rogers City; two grandchildren, Robert (Lisa) Pochmara Jr. of Millersburg and Kasey (Chad) McConnell of Herron; two great grandchildren, Justin (Andrew) Manning of Alpena and Rebecca (Cory) Sweeso of Onaway; one great great granddaughter, Elizabeth Sweeso; and two siblings, Casimir (Mary) Kruczynski of Armada and Josephine Lijewski of Phoenix, Arizona.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Joseph and Mary; and nine siblings.

Friends may visit at the Sunrise Christian Church on Thursday, December 9th from 10 a.m. through time of her funeral at 11 a.m. with Pastor Glen Smith officiating.

Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Millersburg.

Memorials may be given to McLaren Homecare and Hospice in memory of Hattie Pochmara.
