Hazel Haselhuhn

Hazel R. Haselhuhn age 98 of Rogers City
passed away December 27, 2011 at
Tendercare Health Center of Rogers City

Hazel was born January 4, 1913 in Divide County, North Dakota
to Jake and Marie (Fureseth) Smith

She grew up in Wisconsin where she graduated from high school. Hazel went to
work then moved to Chicago and graduated from Moody Bible Institute in
December of 1943. Afterwards, she worked as a book keeper in Chicago where she
met Herbert Haselhuhn whom she married in December, 1953. Together they made
a new life in Rogers City, which truly became home to her.

Hazel is survived by:
her son, Tim (Sue Schmidt) Haselhuhn of Coopersville;
step daughter, Bev Merchant;
step son, Amie (Sharon);
three daughters-in-law, Betty, Bernice, and Peggy;
she is also survived by many Grandchildren, numerous Great Grandchildren, and
several Great-Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Haselhuhn was preceded in death by:
husband, Herbert;
sons, LeRoy, Milton, Les, and Don;
step daughter, Arlene; and
stepson, Marvin.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Visitation will resume at the Ocqueoc Baptist Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m.
through time of funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Marsh officiating.

Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers City.

Memorials may be given in memory of Hazel Haselhuhn to the
Ocqueoc Baptist Church or Hospice of Michigan.
