Helen Boyd

Helen Joyce Boyd age 86 of Inverness Township passed away peacefully at home on October 29, 2021.

She was born January 8, 1935, in Detroit Michigan to Robert and Georgianna (Gardner) Sacker.

On August 7, 1954, she married the love of her life Robert L. Boyd in Detroit Michigan.

Helen is survived by four children, Robert Boyd of Indian River Michigan, Christopher (Karen Serra) Boyd of Cheboygan Michigan, Lynda (Dean) Rocheleau of West Bloomfield Michigan, and Lawrence (Karen) Boyd III of Traverse City Michigan; seven grandchildren, April Gustafson, Nicole (Jay) Broderick, Robert Boyd, Charles “Chase” Rocheleau, Katelyn Rocheleau, Patrick Rocheleau, and Lawrence Boyd IV; four great grandchildren, Luke and Dylan Broderick, Jenny (Tim) Tomblin and Mason Boyd; and one great-great granddaughter, Everly.

Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; two sisters, JoAnn Coon and Robin Rauch; grandson, Eric Gustafson; niece, Katie Rauch; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Boyd.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to the Cheboygan Humane Society or Sacred Heart Catholic Church in memory of Helen J. Boyd.

Friends may visit at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 9^th from 9 a.m. through time of her memorial Mass at 10 a.m. with Fr. Duane Wachowiak officiating.
