1924 - 2016Hildegarde H. Radka age 91 of Rogers City
passed away May 14, 2016 in Alpena
with her loving family by her side.
She was born September 28, 1924 in Belknap Township
to Adolph and Theresa (Schalk) Brege.
Hildegarde married Alvis Radka on October 6, 1945 at St. Michael
Lutheran Church in Belknap, She was an excellent seamstress and loved
to play cards
Mrs. Radka is survived by:
her two daughters, Connie (Duane) Dembny and
Marsha (David) Grulke both of Rogers City;
daughter-in-law, Carol Radka of Rogers City;
7 grandchildren, Debra (Todd) Buck of Kanab, Utah,
Christopher (Bethany) Dembny of Newberry,
Amy (Phil) Henry of Rogers City,
Jenny (Art) Longoria of Rogers City,
Kelly (David) Crull of Presque Isle,
Lynn Radka of Haymarket, Virginia, and
Paula (Tim) Idalski of Rogers City;
13 great grandchildren;
2 sisters, Magdelene Bey and Norma Wirgau both of Rogers City;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by:
her husband Alvis;
son, Thomas;
3 brothers, Harold, Harry, and Elmer Brege;
5 sisters, Marie Trapp, Edna Hopp, Lucille Schalk, Iva Nonemacher, and
Betty Schultz,
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17th, from
4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation
will resume at Peace Lutheran Church on Wednesday, May 18th, at
10:00 a.m. through time of her funeral at 11:00 a.m. with
Pastor J. Derek Riddle officiating
Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers City.
Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church or
Hospice of the Sunrise Shore in memory of Hildegarde Radka.
