Ida Szczerowski

Ida Jennie Szczerowski, age 84 of Rogers City
passed away April 2, 2013 at
Tendercare Health Center of Rogers City.

She was born October 13, 1928 in Rogers City
to Dominic and Filomena (Maccioli) Micketti.

On May 29, 1950 she married John Szczerowski at St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
Ida was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Daughter’s of Isabella,
past member of the Rosary Society and Rogers City TOPS.

Mrs. Szezerowski is survived by:
her husband, John;
5 children, Ann (Howard) Madsen of Rogers City,
Dennis (Celeste) Szczerowski of Big Rapids,
Mary (Dan) Kirby of Charlotte, Norma (Bob) Ellenberger of Onaway,
and Stan “Stosh” (Ann) Szczerowski of Hawks;
12 grandchildren;
4 great grandchildren;
1 brother, Dominic (Dolly) Micketti of Washington;
1 sister, Jean Idalski of Florida.

She was preceded in death by:
2 brothers, Joseph and Anthony Micketti;
3 sisters, Nina Mulka, Mary Santini, and Eleanor Yarch.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m.
where Sr, Rita Epple will conduct the parish prayer service at 7:00p.m.
Visitation will continue at the funcral home on Friday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m.
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated by Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz at St. Ignatius
Catholic Church on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to
Rogers City Tendercare – Activities Room or St. Ignatius Catholic School
in memory of Ida Szczerowski.
