Inez Merritt

Inez Mae Merritt age 89 of Onaway went to be with Jesus on July 28, 2020 at home.

Inez was born on June 1, 1931 to Paul and Juanita (Hutchinson) Gray in Midland.

Inez married Herbert Merritt on August 29, 1953, going on to have two children, Carl and Chelo. Herbert and Inez were married 41 years. Inez loved spending time with her family and friends and sleeping. Sleeping was probably her favorite past time. Inez spent her life in Midland and Maysville, MO. During the time Inez was in Missouri she spent her time volunteering at the local library where she would know you by name as soon as you walked in.

Inez is preceeded by her parents; sister, Juanita Gray Ham “Tooty”; brother, Robert Paul Gray; son, Carl Paul Merritt; grandson, Chad Michael Berryhill; grandson, Timothy Allen Harris and many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her daughter, Chelo (Bill) Banks and many grandchildren, bonus grandchildren and LOTS of great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
