Irene Smith

Irene V. Smith age 97 of Rogers City, passed away
July 21, 2008 at Golden Beach Manor.

She was born June 20,1911 in Moltke Township
to John and Ida (Felax) Goerick

On October 25, 1930, Irene married Aaron Smith in Moltke Township.
She and Aaron owned and operated Smith’s Cottages on Long Lake
in Krakow Township for over 50 years. In 1989 she retired and moved
to Rogers City,

Mrs. Smith is survived by:
1 daughter, Patsy (John) Lezer of Rogers City
5 grandchildren
11 great grandchildren

she was preceded in death by:
husband, Aaron in 1982
daughter, Darlene Reno in 1995
son in law, Don Reno in 2005
2 sisters, Elsie Smith and
Charlotte Goulette

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday (July 23rd)
from 5:00 p.m. through time of funeral at 7:00 p.m, with
Pastor Randy Waibel officiating.

Interment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Sunrise Shore.
