Irving DeYoung

1936 - 2015

Irving (Ace) DeYoung, born March 20, 1936
the son of David and Opal (Rees) DeYoung in Wyoming, MI,
went to be with the love of his life Barb on May 25, 2015,

Ace grew up in the Grand Rapids area and graduated from Godwin Heights
High School in 1955, He moved to Cheboygan where he met Barbara
(Bannatyne) Sutterley and the two were married on July 2, 1971. They
worked side by side to build Ace DeYoung Interiors into a successful
business in northern Michigan, They were inseparable and traveled the
country together always taking the road less traveled, Later, the two spent
much of their time at their favorite place, Brevort Lake. They enjoyed
spending time at their cabin, fishing, bowling, snowmobiling, visiting
casinos, and travel.

Ace was an active member of the Cheboygan Lions, Moose, Eagles, and the
Brevort Lake Association,

Ace is survived by:
his two stepchildren, Tony (Chrissy) Sutterley and Cindy (Tom) Robiadek,
three granddaughters, Tennille (Jay) Folk, Bianca (Aaron) Thompson, and
Mackenzie Robiadeck,
a grandson, Thomas Robiadck, and
five great grandchildren, as well as his sister Arlene Howe (Howard City)
and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
