“Steve” was a Jack of all trades and a master of them all as well
(SO HE THOUGHT), a building contractor in Michigan for many years
also doing plumbing, heating and electrical work, While in Alpena, MI
he also taught Junior and Silver glove boxing and truly enjoyed working
and training with the boys, In 1998 Steve and Janice retired to Hernando,
Florida but still spent many summers traveling back to Michigan and
Indiana to visit family and friends, In his Hernando, FL neighborhood he
was known as the “Mayor” who everyone turned to for “how to” advice
and assistance with various projects. He really enjoyed the visiting, the
music and the house “block” parties that would follow after a good, fun
day of work. He believed in the neighborhood helping cach other out.
He was loved by all, he will truly be missed.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Monday, July 6th from
4:00 p.m. through time of his memorial service at 7:00 p.m. with
