Jacqueline Blumeyer
1957 - 2014Jacqueline Ann Koseba Blumeyer, age 56 of Rogers City,
formerly of Alpena, passed away suddenly on
Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at
Tendercare Health Center in Rogers City
Jackie was born June 9, 1957 in Alpena
to Joseph and Julia (Pilarski) Koseba.
She graduated from Alpena High School in 1975 and then
Ferris State College with a degree in Radiology as an
X-Ray Technician, Jackie interned at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Allen Park.
She was then employed as an X-Ray Tech at Duke University Hospital
in Durham, North Carolina. She later returned to Alpena and was
employed at Alpena General Hospital as an X-Ray Tech, retiring in 2004
due to health reasons, She resided at Tendercare in Rogers City until the
time of her death, There, she kept active making beautiful crocheted rugs,
playing bingo and suduko, visiting with family and friends and as
President of the resident council.
Jacqueline is survived by:
her daughter, Rachel Blumeyer of Nashville, Tennessee;
sister, Barbara (Mal) Oswalt of Presque Isle;
brother, Robert (Laura) Koseba of Alpena;
nieces and nephews, Amy (John) Holloway of Petoskey,
Rob (Kathi) Neumann of Indian River,
Jason Seguin of Toledo, Ohio,
Gabriel (Vegas) Seguin of Pierson,
Aaron (Candace) Koseba of Carmel, California,
Angela (Brad) Luring of Toledo, Ohio,
Jessica and Kayla,
Tracie (Chuck) Taylor of North Branch, and
Lisa Elletson of Winter Garden, Florida;
great nieces and nephews, Blaise, Cassie, Andrew, Kayla, Jersey Mae,
Harrison, Eden, Audra, and Lily;
several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jackie was preceded in death by:
her parents, Joseph and Julia Koseba;
sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Wayne Neuman,
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3, 2014
from 2:00 p.m, through time of memorial service at 3:00 p.m.
with Pastor James Brabson officiating.
