James Johnson

James Johnson age 76 of Huron Beach passed away at MyMichigan Health in Alpena on March 22, 2024.

He was born September 25, 1947.

Jim is survived by his son James (Corinna) Johnson. He will also be missed by his hunting and fishing buddy, Braeden Szymanski, they spent many hours talking and sharing tales of life experiences.

He retired from Plymouth Canton High School as a teacher for emotionally impaired students. Following his retirement he moved to Huron Beach where he and his son built his retirement home. He found solace in the peace and quiet there as well as the company of his furry four legged companion, Dexter. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, watching college football and the occasional casino trip.
