James Majewski

James Leo Majewski age 79 of Rogers City passed away September 22, 2022 at MyMichigan Health in Alpena.

He was born November 7, 1942 in Rogers City to Leo and Clara (Kowalski) Majewski.

Jim is survived by his sister, Sally (Roy) Wekwert of Alpena; five nieces and nephews, Roy Jr. (Karen) Wekwert of Alpena, Denise Schuch of Posen, Wayne Wekwert of Alpena, Renee (Kevan) Rogers of Alpena and Mary (Jason) Trudgen of Presque Isle; 10 great nieces and nephews; and 11 great-great nieces and nephews.

Jim enlisted in the United States Army on January 15, 1963, he was honorably discharged on January 10, 1966. He retired from Calcite as a millwright. Jim enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time at his hunting camp.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 27^th from 1 p.m. through time of his funeral at 3 p.m. Rogers City VFW Post 607 will offer a military tribute immediately following.
