James Orr

James “Jimmy” Orr age 73 of Posen
passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2017.

He was born April 3, 1944 in Detroit
to Robert and Sylvia (Parsch) Orr

Jim was a retired engineer and it wouldn’t take long to discover something
that he modified in his home that people called a “Jimvention”. Jim was
the former owner of the Flying Duck Bar in Posen

He is survived by
his loving wife, Carole, of nearly 30 years;
5 children, Dwayne (Karen) Orr of Davison,
Annette (Craig) Cantrell of Cedar Hill, Texas;
Jeanna (Ron Herron) Novak of Posen,
Kristyn (Rick) Dahn of Warren and
Joseph Orr of Phoenix, Arizona;
son-in-law, William Novak of Posen;
11 grandchildren;
9 great grandchildren;
brothers-in-law, Gary (Carolyn) Kapa and Dennis (Patricia) Kapa;
sisters-in-law, Eugenia (Jerome) Andrews and Sherilee Kapa;
cousins, William Klockow and Marilyn Moore;
several loving nieces and nephews;
special friends, Edward Kandow and Josephine Stema; and
his most faithful yellow lab, Hannah

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sylvia;
brother, Kenneth; mother and
father-in-law, Eugene “Judge” and Helen Kapa; and
1 brother-in-law, David Kapa

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, April 22nd from
3:00 p.m, through time of his funeral at 4:00 p.m,

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Jimmy’s family
for a charity to be selected later
