Janet Maley

Janet Julia Maley age 80 of Krakow Township
passed away May 10, 2017 at home.

She was born December 3, 1936 in Delray
to Stephen and Julia (Kocsan) Kocsis,

Janet was a registered nurse who graduated from the University of
Michigan in 1959, She worked at Oakland Hospital for 38 years, retiring
as an Assistant Director of Nursing and was in charge of Nursing
Education, Janet married Joseph on May 27, 1961 in Allen Park. They
moved up to Grand Lake in 1996, Janet enjoyed gardening, listening and
singing to music, playing piano, fishing, needlepoint, and cheering on her
Michigan Wolverines. She loved to read and watch her hummingbirds.

Janet is survived by:
her husband, Joseph;
son, Joseph Maley; and
brother, Steve (Mary) Kocsis.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, May 13th, from

5:00 p.m, until time of her prayer service at 7:00 p.m. with Revs Greg
and Karen Zurakowski officiating,
