Janet Bedell

Janet Ann Bedell age 89 of Cheboygan passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

She was born in Cheboygan on August 20, 1936 to Daniel and Violla (Chasse) Lemon.

Janet graduated from  St. Charles High School in 1955. She married the love of her life, Glenn Bedell and were married 47 years.

She loved going to the casino, traveling, playing poker, bingo night, crocheting, baking and any other activity where family and friends were.

Janet is survived by three children, David L. (Renea) Enos of San Diego, California, Bruce D. (Robin Kruse) Enos of Defiance, Ohio and Darlene (Randy Merchant) Enos Walenski of Cheboygan; two step children, Kelly (Greg) Penfield of Cheboygan and Andy (Zerrin) Bedell of Cheboygan; several grandchildren, Michelle, Alicia, Celeste, Nate, Rachelle, Max and Kaitlyn; as well as nine great grandchildren.

Janet cherished family and her wonderful friends at Newport Village in Cheboygan, especially her life long friend Donna Jewell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Violla Lemon; her only sibling, Don Lemon; and her loving husband, Glenn Bedell.

A private celebration of her life will take place in the spring of 2026.
