Jean Ide

Jean Ann Ide age 85 of Rogers City
passed away November 12, 2015 in Petoskey.

She was born August 28, 1930 in Jackson
to Russell and Isabel (Campbell) Frizzell.

Jean married her husband of 64 years, Hercil Ide on January 23, 1948.
They were longtime members of St. John Lutheran Church in Rogers City
and recently transferred to Peace Lutheran Church, She worked for

the Wolverine Shoe Company for 9 years then took a job with the Rogers
City School System retiring in 1987 after 14 years of service. She and
Hercil enjoyed activities such as camping, traveling and bowling.

They spent 19 years wintering in Florida. Jean will be greatly missed,

Mrs, Ide is survived by:
4 children, Sherry (Ed) Enlow of Rogers City,
Burton (Sheila) Ide of Grand Ledge,
Gordon (Linda) Ide of Rogers City and
Nancy (Dale) Durecki of Traverse City;
4 grandchildren, Monica, Kristen, Andrew and Adam;
1 great grandson, Joseph;
1 brother, Jerry Frizzell of Florida;
many nieces and nephews,

Jean was preceded in death by:
her husband, Hercil;
parents, Russel and Isabel;
her sister and brother-in-law, Edna Lou and Nathan Keith.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 until
8:00 p.m, Visitation will resume at Peace Lutheran Church on Monday
from 10:00 a.m, through time of her funeral at 11:00 a.m. with

Pastor J. Derek Riddle officiating.
Interment will follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a hospice,

Peace Lutheran Church or St. John Lutheran School
in memory of Jean Ide.
