Jerry Dodder

Jerry Dean Dodder age 73 of Cheboygan passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

He was born December 31, 1946 in Highland Park to Jacob and Audrey (Franks) Dodder.

Jerry graduated from Troy High School then enlisted in the United States Army for three years. On October 23, 1971 he married the love of his life Cindy English. Jerry loved his family. His grandkids meant the world to him and kept him busy. You could always find him at their sporting events as he was their biggest fan.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; children, Robert (Jolynn) Dodder, Jennifer (Frank) Smith, Stefanie (James) Seaman and Jacob (Ann) Dodder; 12 grandchildren, Michael, Alicia, Jordan, Zachary, Logan, Emmanuel, Jacqueline, Jacob, Ashton, Erron, Taylor and Gavin; two great grandchildren, Isley and Sebastian; a brother Robert Dodder; a sister, Dawn (George) Walkley; brothers-in-law, Ken English and Tom (Karen) Berry; father-in-law, Robert English, and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was proceeded in death by his parents Jacob and Audrey Dodder; mothers-in-law, Jacqueline and Betty; brother, John Dodder; sister, Patricia Dodder; brothers-in-law, Marvin and Bill (Gertrude) Berry; and sister-in-law, Mary English.

Jerry’s wishes were to be honored in our hearts and memories without a gathering.
