Joe Plume

David “Joe” Plume age 80 of Rogers City
died May 17, 2015 at home.

He was born December 11, 1934 in Presque Isle
to Donald and Margaret (Riblet) Plume.

Joe was a lifelong resident of Rogers City and retired from the Department
of Public Works in the late 1990s. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing
cards and working with wood.

He is survived by:
3 children, Kevin Plume, Laura (Keith) Grockau, and
Mark (Yvonne) Plume all of Rogers City;
6 grandchildren, Jeremiah Grockau, Sonya Engle, Louie Plume,
Joseph (Nichole) Plume, Anita Plume and Chelsey Plume;
8 great grandchildren;
3 brothers, Elmer (Irene) Plume of Presque Isle,
Melvin (Dale) Plume of Rogers City and
Jerry (Andrea) Plume of Alpena;
3 sisters, Alice (Bill) Altman of Rogers City, Ida Hoppe of Alpena and
Janet (Jim) Bieske of Posen.

Mr. Plume was preceded in death by:
wife, Estelle;
daughter, June Thomas;
sister, Mary Bisson;
3 brothers, Edward, Jim and Richard;
parents, Donald and Margaret and Archie and Angeline,

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 until
8:00 p.m. with rosary at 6:30 followed by the parish wake service at
7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church
from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:00 a.m, with Fr. Sylvestre Obwaka
officiating.

Inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Ignatius Catholic School
in Memory of Joe Plume.
