John Loughran Jr.

John Francis Loughran Jr. age 86 of Rogers City
passed away March 1, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical
Center in Alpena.

He was born July 28, 1932 in Detroit
to John and Ida (Cournyoue) Loughran,

John served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. When
he returned home he married Patricia Norenberg on May 18, 1957 in
Detroit. Following his retirement in 1998 from the Sheet Metal Local 80
in Detroit, the Loughrans moved to Rogers City. John enjoyed bowling
and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a huge
U of M fan.

He is survived by:
his wife, Patricia;
two children, John F. Loughran III of Rogers City and
Chery! (Mike) Kroll of Rogers City;
five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren,
He was also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and many great nieces
and nephews.

He was preceded in death by:
his parents, John and Ida;
a son, Michael; and
a sister, Patricia Miron

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 6th
from 4 p.m. through time of his funeral at 7 p.m. with Sr. Mary Michelz
officiating. Rogers City VFW Post 607 will offer a military tribute
immediately following

Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Medilodge Activities Room or
Rogers City Fire Department,
