John Wiedl Sr.

John Joseph Wiedl Sr. age 88 of Rogers City passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2024 with his family at his side.

He was born October 1, 1935 in Danbury, Connecticut to Frederick and Margaret (Ormsbee) Wiedl.

John is survived by his wife, Joan; two children, Cheryl (Joseph) Kowalski of Rogers City and John Wiedl Jr. of Danbury, Connecticut; five grandchildren, Thomas (Coty) Holt, Bradley (Kalyn) Wiedl, Candace Wiedl, Heather Oberstadt and Katlyn Leonard; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Margaret; his first wife, Sandra; and all 12 of his siblings.
