Josephine Reinke

Josephine R. Reinke age 96 of Rogers City passed away
October 23, 2008 at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital

She was born November 16, 1911 in Hancock, Michigan to
Gust and Barbara (Reinwand) Solf

Jo graduated from Painesdale High School then went to Northern Teachers College in
Marquette where she earned her teaching degree. She moved to Rogers City in the
late 1930’s and taught in the Rogers City Schools. On November 8, 1941 she married
Frank Leo Reinke.

Mrs. Reinke is survived by:
4 children,
Richard S. (Diane) Reinke of Petoskey,
Robert J. (Jean) Reinke of Pawleys Island, SC,
Barbara J. (Tom) Ellenberger of Onaway, and
Mary Sue (Dave) Knoke of Florence, WI
6 grandchildren
5 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by:
husband,
Frank L. in 1988
3 sisters,
Loretta Waters, Helen Perryman, and Estelle Johnson

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Sunday, October 26th from 2:00 until
8:00 p.m. where the rosary will be recited at 6:30 followed by the parish wake service
at 7:00 p.m..Visitation will resume at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Monday from
10:00 a.m. through time of mass at 11:00 a.m, with Fr. Charles Donajkowski
officiating.

Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery
