Kahren Pilon

Kahren M. (Davis) Pilon, age 86 of Cheboygan passed away Sunday March 3, 2024 at home peacefully, surrounded by her family.

Kahren was preceded in death by Tom, her husband of 65 years, her son Steven, and her brother Marty.

She is survived by her children; Tom and Ellen Pilon of Colchester VT, Bob and Jean Ann Pilon of Cheboygan, Richard and Crystal Pilon of Cheboygan, Sharon and Brandon Latsch of Cheboygan, Barbara and Ron Winter of Essex Junction VT, Valerie and Mark Tamlyn of Cheboygan, and daughter-in-law Lori Hudak of Cheboygan; brothers Earl Davis of Saginaw, Jerry and Patricia Davis of Bay City, Chuck & Len Davis of San Diego, and Walt and Barbara Davis of Holland; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Kahren was an active member of the Cheboygan Catholic Community serving as a Lector and an Extraordinary Minister for many years, as well as teaching Sacramental Preparation Catechism classes. She also served 12 years on the Cheboygan Area Public School Board of Education After being a stay at home mom for many years, she went to work for Dr Mitchell and then Dr. Merrick optometry office, until her retirement in 2002. Kahren was very proud to be a loyal blood donor, and volunteer for the drives. She absolutely loved reading and the Cheboygan Area Public Library, attending community and school productions at the Opera House, and above all else, giving her love and time with her family.

Kahren’s family would like to thank McLaren Home Hospice nurses Joei and Brooke for their excellent care and compassion in the care of Kahren.

Kahren’s family has chosen to remember her privately.
