Katherine Limberg-Karr

Kathryn L. Limberg-Karr age 59 of Presque Isle
passed away August 7, 2008 at home.

She was born May 2, 1949 in Detroit to Ferd and Elizabeth (Hein) Limberg

Kathryn graduated from Henry Ford High School in Detroit in 1967
and received a B.S. degree from Easter Michigan University, Master’s
and Specialist’s degrees in School Psychology from the University of
Detroit (U of D), and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology also from U of D.
Her 25 year career was primarily as a School Psychologist in Detroit
Suburban Schools. She married Donald Robert Karr on December 17, 1983
in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Upon her retirement Kathryn & Donald
shared their time between Presque Isle, Michigan and Venice, Florida.
Kay was very active on the Caring Committee of the Unitarian Universalist
Congregation of Venice (UUCOV).

She was a member of Friends of the Library, Presque Isle Lighthouse
Society, and the Presque Isle Harbor Association .

brother, Dr. James (Colleen) Limberg
aunt, Magdalene (George) Hein Simon
4 nicce and nephews
4 stepchildren
7 step grandchildren

She was preceded in death by:
father, Ferd in 1996

Friends may visit at the Grand Lake Chapel on Thursday (Aug. 14th)
from 12-noon until time of her memorial service at 1:00 p.m. with the
Reverend Suzanne Nazian officiating.

Inurnment will take place in the Presque Isle Cemetery.
