Kathy was a giver not a taker. She had a great love for family & friends. Her
grandchildren were the love of her life. She enjoyed spending as much time as
possible on Bois Blanc Island, where she and her husband, Kevin, owned a cottage.
Her many interests included cooking, baking, canning, reading, tending her plants,
playing cards, wildlife and the out-of-doors. Her real joy was hearing stories about
her grandchildren or being able to attend their various activities. Lastly, she loved her
dogs, Jake, Sammy & Doogie. She has left a hole in many people’s hearts. We will
mect again someday. In the meantime, those that have passed before us will take
care of her. She will bring a smile to their faces.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday, March 18th at 2:00PM at
St. Paul United Methodist Church in Cheboygan.
Burial will take place on Bois Blanc Island.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice House of Cheboygan in
memory of Kathy Gibbons.
