Kathy Cooper

Kathy Lynn Cooper age 64 of Rogers City passed away peacefully at Medilodge in Rogers City on Monday, May 1, 2023.

She was born May 14, 1958 in Petoskey to James and Mary (Miller) Parrott.

Kathy is survived by son, David (Crystal) Wise of Sault Ste. Marie; daughter, Amanda Knight of Rogers City; many grandchildren and great
grandchildren; Mother, Mary Slocum of Rogers City; father, James (Pat) Parrott of Indian River; two sisters, Sherrel Parrott of Rogers City and Shelly Smart of Rochester Hills; a brother, Kevin Parrott of Indian River; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Tracy Beaudry.

Kathy loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, gardening, going to yard sales and trips to the casino.

A celebration of life will take place at the United Methodist Church, 956 Eagles Nest Road, Indian River, Michigan 49749 on May 12 th at 2 p.m. with a luncheon to follow.

Memorials may be given to Kathy’s family for a charity to be selected later.
