Kenneth Goetz

Kenneth Russel Goetz age 68 of Huron Beach
passed away August 8, 2015 at
Alpena Regional Medical Center.

He was born August 2, 1947 in Sault Ste. Marie
to Phillip and Charlotte (Primrose) Goetz,

Ken served in the United States army and he saw two tours of duty in
Vietnam. Following his marriage to Nancy Buskirk in Cedarville on
February 5, 1971 he enlisted in the United States Navy. After fulfilling
his obligation to the Navy he began working for the Interlake Steamship
company, He retired in 2003 as a 3rd Engineer, Ken enjoyed fishing,
ice fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Goetz is survived by:
his wife, Nancy;
2 sons, Phillip (Olivia) and Aric;
6 grandchildren, Nora and Caleb, Lance and Morgan, Savannah and
Destiny;
1 brother, Rodney; and
a daughter-in-law, Philae.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Charlotte, and
son, Paul,

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, August 1 Sth
from 2:00 p.m. through time of his memorial service at 3:00 p.m. with
Pastor Robert Hynes officiating. Rogers City VF W Post 607 will accord
military honors immediately following.
