Kenneth McCombs

Kenneth John McCombs, age 95 of Indian River,
passed away September 6, 2013 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey.

He was born June 5, 1918 in Tecumseh, Michigan
to Elmer and Cecil (Lewis) McComb.

Ken worked as a Jockey and participated in many different races, including the
Kentucky Derby. He was associated with many high profile families, including the
Bing Crosby Family.

Ken was a member of the Indian River Eagles Club.
Mr. McCombs is survived by:
his daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Cronk of Indian River;
son, Rick McCombs of Arizona;
brother, Loren (Pat) McCombs of Florida.
