Kenneth Nowak
1938 - 2014Kenneth F. Nowak, age 76 of Posen,
passed away at home on May 13, 2014.
He was born May 12, 1938 in Rogers City
to Alphonse and Louise (Smolinski) Nowak, < te
Ken served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1959.
On July 30, 1960 he married Margaret Kamyszek at
St. Casimir Catholic Church in Posen, He was the owner of
Cedar Craft Products in which he produced beautiful outdoor lawn
furniture. Ken loved his family and enjoyed hunting, playing polka
music, watching the Detroit Tigers, and spending time outdoors.
Mr. Nowak is survived by:
his wife of 53 years, Marge;
3 children, Ron (Jean) Nowak, Anne (Al) Wirgau, and
Pam (John) Zelasko;
7 grandchildren, John, Katie (Nate), Jennifer (Dee), Ken, Jacob, Alana,
and Jenna;
6 great grandchildren, Barik, Alyssa, Daniel, Janessa, Tyler and Max;
7 siblings, Pat (Don) White, Shirley (Norm) Schollett,
Richard (Sandic), Judi (Terry) Kaines, Robert (Pam),
Michael (Ann), JulicAnn (Marc) Bergman;
sister-in-law, Shirley Moulds.
He was preceded in death by:
his parents, Alphonse and Louise;
brother, Ervin.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to
Hospice of the Sunrise Shore or Friends Together.
