Larry Boyke

Larry L. Boyke age 67 of Rogers City
passed away October 2, 2011 at home

He was born June 21, 1944 in Metz
to Otto and Margaret (Schroeder) Boyke

On November 8, 1975 he married Georgia LePage in Flint. Larry retired as a sheet
metal worker after 35 years in the trade, He was a member of

St. Michael Lutheran Church. Larry enjoyed playing cards, working on tractors,
hunting, and fishing. He will be remembered for his unique bird houses and scale
models of area structures.

Mr. Boyke is survived by:
his wife, Georgia;
2 children, Albert (Vicki) Boyke of Prescott and Dennie (Eric) Felax of Rogers City;
12 grandchildren;
2 great grandchildren;
8 siblings, Delene Brege of Rogers City, Ardell Boyke of Detroit,
Lois (Richard) Golasinski of Roseville, William Boyke of Gladwin,
Phyllis Hepburn of Alpena, Marylin (Gene) O’Dell of Roseville,
Darhl (Marie) Boyke of Warren; and Virgil (Eleanor) Boyke of Davison.

Larry was preceded in death by:
his daughter, Tandy Kozlow;
grandson, Joshua Boyke;
brother, Jimmy Boyke; and
sister; Gloria Hafner

A memorial visitation will take place at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday,
October 6th from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Visitation will resume on Friday at St. Michael Lutheran Church from 10:00 a.m.
through time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Hopkins officiating.

Inurnment will take place at St. Michael Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Boyke Family for a charity to be decided upon
at a later date.
