Laura Roeske

Laura Rose Roeske, age 87 of Rogers City,
passed away November 30, 2013
at Rogers City Tendercare.

She was born November 5, 1926 in Moltke Township
to John and Martha (Schaedig) Brege.

Laura married Wallace Roeske on June 18, 1949 at
Immanuel Lutheran Church in Moltke Township.
Mrs. Roeske was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its
Ladies Aid Society. She was a teachers aid at the Rogers City
Elementary School for many years, Laura loved spending time with
children and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by:
her husband Wallace of 64 years;
5 children, Pauline (David) Walker of Oxford,
Victor (Patricia) Roeske of North Branch,
Charlene (Steve) Miller of Concord, Ohio,
Laurine (Ted) Domke of Wasilla, Alaska, and
Eric Roeske of Patchogue, New York;
2 granddaughters, Alison Roeske of Monrovia, California and
Rachel Roeske of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina;
2 siblings, Betty Curtis of Ocqueoc and Eugene (Mayreen “Fritz”) Brege.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 until
8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on
Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 10:00 a.m. through time of
funeral at 11:00 a.m, with Pastor Eric Voigt officiating.

Interment will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in memory of Laura Roeske
to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
