Lenita Schroeder

Lenita May Schroeder, age 81 years and 14 days, passed away peacefully at home to be in the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on July 2, 2021.

She was born to Rollo and Melvie (Smith) Schroder on June 18, 1940 in Davenport, Iowa.

On August 7, 1965, she married Kenneth William Schroeder at Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Miami, Florida.

Lenita is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth of Rogers City; daughter, Teresa Tuft of Alpena; grandson, Raymond Tuft of Alpena; brothers: John (Ikuko) of Paris, California; Keith (Linda) of Seaford, New York; Mark (Teresa) of Miami, Florida; sister, Kay of Miami, Florida; 2 brothers in-law, Arnold (Mary) Schroeder of Portage, Indiana and Timothy (Darla) Schroeder of Richfield, Minnesota; and a sister In-law, Ethel (John) Beyer of Ozark, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rollo and Melvie Schroder and her youngest brother, Lee Schroder.

Friends may visit at Immanuel Lutheran Church – Alpena on Wednesday, July 14th from 10 a.m. through time of her memorial service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joshua Schultz officiating.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church and School in Rogers City or Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Alpena.
