Leroy LaBorde

LeRoy J LaBorde Sr age 80 of Topinabee,
passed away peacefully on August 29, 2014
surrounded by family.

LeRoy was born October 14, 1933 in Chicago IL, one of five children,
His family moved to Detroit, Michigan when he was a teen. LeRoy raised
his family in Michigan, he retired and moved to Topinabee in 1989,

Since retiring he spent his time working on projects around his home,
building, woodworking, organizing & finding a use for other people’s
throw aways. LeRoy was always willing to share his home and loved
people.

LeRoy is survived by his six children:
Joe (Nancy) LaBorde of Powell, Tennessee; Chris (Tim) Bauer of
Clinton, Tennessee; Terri (Marty) Sarrault of Cheboygan; Tammy (Dave)
Dombroski of Topinabee; Audrey (Al) Lewellen of Davisburg, MI and
Carl LaBorde of White Lake MI;
Ten Grandchildren: Matt, Nick & Sara LaBorde; Amy, Wesley & Kelly
Kendall; Megan Bauer; Jaimie Sarrault; Andrea and Buddy Lewellen.
Sixteen Great Grandchildren;
Sister Eleanor Burke and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and the family plans a private memorial
for LeRoy at a later date.
