Lillian Zielaskowski
1931 - 2016Lillian Marie Zielaskowski age 85 of Rogers City
passed away October 1, 2016 at Mid Michigan
Medical Center in Alpena,
She was born August 1, 1931 in Rogers City
to Walter and Pauline (Gapezynski) Yarch.
On June 19, 1948 she married Daniel Ziclaskowski at St. Ignatius Catholic
Church, Mrs. Zielaskowski enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, rug
making, crocheting and sewing. It has been said of Lillian that she
could make something out of nothing. Mrs. Zielaskowski was a member
of the Daughters of Isabella, St. Ignatius Catholic Church and its Rosary
Society,
Lillian is survived by:
her husband of 68 years, Daniel;
4 children, Margaret Schneider of Greenwood, Indiana,
Christine (Jeffrey) Cook of Gaylord,
John (Jane) Zielaskowski of Rogers City and
Lila (Arnie) Millsap of Leonard;
7 grandchildren, Edmond (Christine) Schneider,
Michael (Jennifer Ann) Schneider,
Stephanie (Jason) Young, Audrey (Phil) White,
Cynthia (Bryan) Lewandowski, Danielle Zielaskowski
and Rebecca Ziclaskowski;
step grandson, Talon Wooster;
8 great grandchildren, Toni, Mariah, Nathaniel, Jack, Eva, Rainey,
Annabelle and Anthony;
1 brother, John Yarch;
2 sisters, Ann Losinski and Rose Patrick..
She was preceded in death by:
a grandson, Christopher Schneider and
many brothers and sisters.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m.
until 8:00 p.m. where the Daughters of Isabella will recite the Rosary at
6:30. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church
from 9:00 a.m. through time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. with
Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating.
Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Alzheimer’s Research through the
Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Lillian Zielaskowski.
